Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays sweet readers. I hope you had a wonderful time with your family and friends. One of my favorite things about this time of year is the FOOD! I love me some good eatin’ y’all! I’ve come together with my weekend warrior gals to bring you my favorite delicious recipe.
Now I’ll be the first to admit that I am no Suzy Homemaker. I don’t really like to cook. Let me rephrase that, I never know what to cook. I’ll ask the hubs what he wants for dinner and every day I get “I don’t care”. That STRESSES me out ya’ll! lol I do try though.
Something I do enjoy, although I don’t do it very often is baking. Today I’ll be sharing my great-grandmothers homemade banana nut bread recipe with you. (Just a little side note, I won 1st place in my county 4H food show with this recipe back in 1997. Big deal ya’ll! HA!)
I love me some banana bread. I make this a few times a month and eat it for breakfast throughout the week. It’s quick, easy and oh so good!!!

One year, we read a story about a little girl who flew around the world and saw many different things, one of which was the Statue of Liberty. When the students were asked to name something she saw on her journey, a little boy said the Spatula Delivery! Too cute!
