Description
Use exit tickets to see how well students understand what they’re learning. These quick checks cover different things like even and odd numbers, comparing and ordering numbers, and using number lines. You can use them after teaching a whole group or a small group lesson. The information you get will help you know what parts of a skill you should focus on with different groups of students.
These exit tickets are for kids in 2nd grade. They have questions to review basic number ideas, like knowing even and odd numbers, comparing numbers using symbols, ordering numbers, and identifying patterns on a number line. They align the TEKS and Common Core Standards, which are guidelines for what students should learn.
➡️ Version A covers numbers up to 999 to match the CCS standards.
➡️ Version B covers numbers up to 1,200 to match the TEKS.
These 2nd Grade Math Exit Tickets include:
- 1-4 problems depending on the skill
- 3 exit tickets per sheet to allow for easy printing for your whole class
- 2 versions for each skill
- Self-elevations on each exit slip
⭐ These exit tickets do correlate with my Guided Math units or they can be used as a stand-alone with any curriculum. If you do own my Guided Math units, they follow the same order as the daily lesson plans. They can also be used as a standalone with any curriculum. ⭐
Ways to Use Exit Slips
☑️ formative assessments
☑️ small group reflections
☑️ early finisher activities
You will love how easy it is to assess your students. Each exit ticket also includes a spot for students to self-assess their understanding. This allows them to safely share how they feel about the concept or skill they are learning.
