These April Math Journal Prompts are the perfect way to sneak in problem solving skills practice with your 2nd graders. I created these spring word problems journal prompts to use as a quick practice with my students each day. Simply copy the prompts and have students glue them into their math journals. They can be used for morning work, in small/whole groups, centers, or as exit tickets.
There are 30 problems that contain basic addition and subtraction, 2 digit addition and subtraction with and without regrouping, 3 digit addition and subtraction, place value (3 and 4 digits), multi-step problems (2 steps), adding numbers with 3 and 4 addends, fractions, and money up to $1.00. At the top of each page, it tells which concept is being covered so you can easily skip around if needed.
