Happy New Year sweet readers! Can you believe it is 2015?!? Time is flying by folks but I cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store for me and my little family. We have lots to look forward too so stay tuned! I’m linking up with Farley for the first currently linky of the year.
Listening: the hubs has the Oregon v. Florida St. game on.
Loving: I love breaks. I haven’t put make up on or fixed my hair in almost 2 weeks. Don’t you just LOVE breaks? Now I have managed to at least shower, blow dry my hair and brush my teeth but that is as far as I’ve gotten. Oh, and I’ve been in comfy sweats the entire time too. LOVE IT!
Thinking: 2015 is going to be a big year for my little family. I can’t reveal all the details yet (no, I am not pregnant) but stay tuned.
Wanting: Last year (ha, it was 1 day ago and it feels weird saying that) was the first year in I don’t know how long that I didn’t go snow skiing somewhere. I told the hubs I’d like to go for spring break. We’ll see if it happens.
Needing: Ugh! I have to go to the school and finish making my copies for next week. I also need to reorganize a few things. I have a bad case of the I don’t want to’s right now.
Yes: I’m super excited and SUPER nervous about this one. I’ll be presenting at the first annual iTeach 2nd conference in Las Vegas this summer on July 6th. I don’t know a whole lot of details yet but as soon as I know some more information I’ll let you know. I do know that you can register for the conference here. I’ll be presenting over academic vocabulary.
Maybe: I have my fingers crossed on this one. We are planning to buy our first home sometime this year. I watch a lot of HGTV so I have high expectations. lol
I wish: I wish that we lived closer to our families. We are 4 1/2 hours to my family and almost 8 to my husbands family. We had planned on spending an entire week with my family over the break but that didn’t get to happen due to my husbands job. 🙁 I’m way homesick right now. I don’t think it will ever get easier.
Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2015 is the best one yet!
KABOOM! is the one game that I always say every teacher needs in their classroom. It is so versatile and can be used with anything. This is my students absolute favorite game to play and they never get tired of it. I have games made for all subject areas. Read all about this class favorite! ---> bit.ly/KABOOMClassroomGame... One year, we read a story about a little girl who flew around the world and saw many different things, one of which was the Statue of Liberty. When the students were asked to name something she saw on her journey, a little boy said the Spatula Delivery! Too cute!
